VocabSnap is a vocabulary learning tool. You can upload images containing text. The service extracts text via OCR, generates vocabulary suggestions using an AI service, and provides interactive learning views (flashcards and optional audio).

- Date and time of access

- Referrer URL
- Requested pages and technical identifiers (e.g., request ID)
3.2 Data processed through user actions
- Uploaded images (processed to extract text; the uploaded file is deleted after processing)
- Extracted text (processed to generate vocabulary suggestions)
- Generated vocabulary content (words, translations, short definitions, example sentences) stored as learning sets
- Language and difficulty selection (stored in your session)
- Optional audio files generated for vocabulary items

- No account creation is required
- No payment information is processed

- Providing the service (OCR, vocabulary extraction, flashcards, audio learning)

- Server logs: up to 30 days
- Uploaded images: deleted after processing

- Hosting provider: Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany)
- CDN provider: jsDelivr (AK Design System CSS assets)
- AI vocabulary extraction: DeepSeek (API processing of extracted text)
- Text-to-speech: ElevenLabs (API processing of words to generate audio)
7.2 External content
The platform may load static assets (e.g., CSS) via a CDN. When accessing such resources, requests are made to the respective providers.
